joe Even though I am an avid NBA follower these days, I’m actually more of a Kobe Bryant lover these days. That’s just the way it is, the Lakers are the team to beat in the West, period. Sheesh.
But, I do have some nice tidbits to offer any Lakers fans lucky enough to make it to the end of this series. I would have to say, based on what I gleaned from the first two games, bet the totals on this series. I made the Lakers +1140 favorites to win the series last night, and IForecast the series as a push.

Ruptured relationships with past and current West opponents (The Rockets, Sonics, Nuggets, Dewavegas, etc.). flats against the percentage (The Lakers have a tendency to be very streaky in the postseason). Now, the West has to be at least somewhat irritated at the notion that their undefeated streak might be coming to an end. And, I don’t blame them. The ‘Nets’ have way too many weapons offensively, and don’t care as much about Bynum & Co. Not to mention, unless they face Dallas, the easiest non-conference schedule in the NBA.
